For years Blinds by Design has provided you with top-quality window treatments from some of the best brands in the business. Now, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding that service to include fully customized draperies and side panels! This brand-new service was created in partnership with talented Kentucky interior designer Gayle Cornett.
What Makes Custom Drapery Great?
If you ask Gayle Cornett why she’s passionate about custom drapery and custom side panels, she will tell you it’s because of the options. When creating a complete home interior design, the more customization options you have, the more personal your overall design.
With the new service from Blinds by Design, we can create custom side panels in lengths up to ten feet and a full line of custom drapes. We have worked with Gayle to curate a fabric collection that includes a mixture of on-trend and classic designs that are sure to fit any home. We carry a curated fabric selection from top brands RM Coco and Horizons and we can also make custom drapery from any customer-provided fabrics.
What Our Service Will Include
When you decide to get custom drapery from Blinds by Design, our focus will always be on you as a customer. The first step in the process will be to pair you up with our window treatment designers Lisa Fergerson and Gayle Cornett. Our designers will walk you through the customization options, including fabric selection, pleating styles, and hardware options. If you aren’t sure which designs are suitable for your home, we would be happy to look at the existing decor in your home and help you choose the perfect custom drapery fabrics. Once the materials have been selected, we will professionally measure and fabricate your custom drapes. Our team will also come to your home and provide installation services. We can’t wait for you to enjoy your brand-new draperies!
Working with Gayle Cornett
Blinds by Designs is thrilled to have Gayle Cornett join Lisa Fergerson as part of our custom window treatment design team. Gayle has a degree in interior design with a specialization in complete home renovations, all interior finishes, lighting design, kitchen and bath design, and window treatments. She has published articles in Kentucky Home & Gardens and is experienced with residential and commercial projects. At Blinds by Design, Gayle will work with our team on custom drapery and offer kitchen and bath design consultations.
